When you send me unreleased footage, ideas or brand files, you're trusting me with something valuable. This page explains, in plain words, how I keep your work private, what you own, how files move and how payments work, so you can share with confidence and focus on the result.
Confidentiality and NDA
Your ideas stay private before, during and after the project.
- I'm happy to sign your NDA before we start.
- Confidentiality applies whether an NDA is signed or not.
- Launches, embargoed content and private brand work are welcome. Tell me first and we'll agree on how your files are handled.
What you own
What you pay for is yours to use, edit and publish.
- Final videos, thumbnails and designs: yours, once the project is paid.
- Raw footage and brand assets you send: yours, always, from day one.
- Project and source files: available on request. Ask before the project starts.
- Licensed music and stock: cleared for your use in the video.
- Showing your work in my portfolio: your choice, only with your permission.
How your files move
Files move through private links, never public uploads. Here's what happens at each step:
- Brief and NDA. We agree on scope, price and confidentiality before any file is shared.
- Private upload. You send footage through a private link that only the project team can open.
- Review and revisions. Drafts are shared privately, and your feedback comes straight to me.
- Delivery and clean-up. You get the final files, and project files are removed whenever you ask.
Who sees your work
You talk to me directly from brief to final delivery, and I stay accountable for the result.
- One point of contact for your whole project.
- Team members only see the files and details their part of the work needs.
- Everyone who helps on your project follows the same confidentiality rules.
Tools and accounts
Your files live in trusted, well-known services, protected the same way you'd protect your own business accounts.
- File sharing: a private Google Drive or Dropbox folder for your project, shared only with the people working on it.
- Editing: professional software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve, on secured machines.
- Accounts: password-protected, with two-factor authentication where the service offers it.
- Logins you share: used only for the agreed task, and you can change them as soon as the work is done.
How long files are kept
Project files are kept while we work together and for a period after delivery, in case you need a revision or another copy. You can ask me to delete them sooner at any time, and I'll confirm once they're gone. Invoices are kept only as long as tax rules require.
White-label work for agencies
If you're an agency, my team can work behind your brand. Your client never hears from me, your client's files are handled under the same confidentiality rules, and you keep the relationship. I'm happy to sign your NDA and your client's.
AI tools
I use AI tools only to speed up the edit, and never with confidential material unless you approve it first.
Secure payments
Clear quotes and trusted payment methods, with nothing hidden.
- Price and terms are agreed in writing before work starts.
- 50% upfront to start, and 50% on completion before the final files are delivered.
- Payments go through trusted payment methods. I never ask for your card details.
Your data
I only use the information your project actually needs.
- Your data is never sold or shared with anyone who doesn't need it.
- Your work stays out of my portfolio if you ask.
- You can ask me to delete your files and details at any time.
The full details are in the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.

Common questions
Is it safe to send my raw footage to a freelance video editor?
Yes, when the editor works the way I do: confidentiality from day one, an NDA if you want one, private access-limited links instead of public uploads, and your files deleted on request after delivery. Your raw footage always stays yours.
Will you sign an NDA before seeing my project?
Yes. Send me your NDA before you share anything and I'll sign it. Even without one, everything you share is treated as confidential.
Who owns the final video and design files?
You do. Final videos, thumbnails and designs are yours to use, edit and publish once the project is paid. Raw footage and brand assets you send are always yours.
Can my project stay out of your portfolio?
Of course. Your work only appears in my portfolio or case studies with your permission.
How do payments work, and is my payment information safe?
You pay 50% upfront to start and 50% on completion, through a trusted payment method, with the price agreed in writing first. I never ask for your card details.
Do you use AI on my footage?
Only to speed up the edit, and never with confidential material unless you approve it first.
Can you work confidentially for my agency's clients?
Yes. My team can work white-label behind your agency, under your NDA and your client's, without ever contacting your client directly.
